Community Guidelines

A useful Connecticut production community needs real identities, rights-respecting sharing, transparent sponsorship, and a fast way to stop harm.

Who can participate

Public posts and comments use an active, reviewed, creator-consented CT Video profile. An external social account is not required. A profile review confirms only the status displayed; it is not a guarantee of identity, licensing, safety, qualifications, insurance, or results.

What is not allowed

  • Harassment, threats, stalking, hate, or targeted humiliation.
  • Private contact, venue, customer, applicant, payout, tax, or investor information.
  • Spam, fake engagement, undisclosed sponsorships, deceptive claims, or impersonation.
  • Content you do not have permission to share, including copyrighted media or confidential client work.
  • Unsafe instructions, illegal conduct, sexual exploitation, malware, credential requests, or payment diversion.
  • Job scams, applicant fees, fake jobs, or misleading employer affiliation.

Human moderation

New posts and comments are normally private until reviewed. CT Video Services may approve, reject, limit, remove, preserve for a dispute, or refer content when necessary for safety, rights, legal compliance, or platform integrity. Reports are private. Repeated abuse may suspend the account and remove public content.

Sharing and sponsorship

External share buttons send only the public page URL and the text you choose to the selected network. Internal profile shares are stored on CT Video Services. Paid, gifted, affiliate, or otherwise sponsored relationships must be disclosed clearly in the post itself. Outbound user links may use rel="ugc nofollow"; paid links use sponsored treatment.

Appeals and urgent concerns

Use the Report control on a post, comment, or profile. For urgent safety, privacy, accessibility, or rights issues, call or text (203) 512-8339 or use the Media Rights and Accessibility channels.
