PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

CT Video Services uses information you voluntarily provide—such as your name, phone number, email, organization, requested date, location, project scope, alert choices, and messages—to prepare estimates, answer requests, schedule production, and provide requested services. We do not sell quote-request data.

Estimator drafts and submissions

The Production Price Lab can save an unfinished scope in your browser's local storage for up to 14 days. That local draft stays on the device unless you submit it. You may clear the draft from the calculator at any time. When you request an exact planning quote, the submitted scope and contact details are stored in the site's protected production database and may be synchronized to our HubSpot customer-relationship system. The direct request form uses the same production desk.

Planning quotes

A calculator result is a planning estimate, not an automatic reservation or binding production contract. The submitted scope, estimate ID, market range, planning quote, source page, and delivery status may be retained so we can reply, prevent duplicate requests, document changes, and support a potential project.

Optional marketing

Permission to discuss a requested quote is separate from optional marketing permission. The optional marketing box is not preselected. You can ask us to stop marketing messages at any time.

Installed app, offline cache, and web alerts

On supported browsers, the site can install a service worker that automatically caches core application files, icons, an offline page, selected public app pages, and a limited set of recently visited public pages and related images or feeds. Optional offline packs add the public references you select. Quote submissions, sign-in responses, private production-desk routes, contact records, and contractor documents are not placed in the public offline cache. If you explicitly enable browser alerts, we store the browser's push subscription endpoint and encryption keys, selected topics, selected Connecticut towns, browser identifier, delivery health, and update time. A push endpoint is a device-specific delivery address. Turning alerts off disables that subscription in our database and browser.

Production Pocket Kit and device-only information

The Production Pocket Kit can keep production notes, checklist state, selected offline-pack records, local file names, and compatible items received by a supported installed app in storage controlled by your browser on that device. When the active service worker receives a share, it stores compatible items locally. If that receiver is unavailable, the operating system's share request may traverse our hosting edge; the fallback discards its body and does not store or echo the shared content. Local camera test clips are not automatically uploaded or synchronized across devices. Local items may be removed by you, the browser, storage pressure, or clearing site data. Opening, downloading, sharing, or deleting a local item remains under your control.

Camera, microphone, screen, location, and display controls

The Pocket Kit requests camera, microphone, screen or window, or location permission only after you select the corresponding control. Camera, microphone, and screen-source previews and test recordings stay local unless you later choose to share or save them; the Pocket Kit does not upload them. Picture in picture only changes how that local preview is displayed. Captured shoot coordinates stay in the open page unless you copy, share, or place them in your notes. Selecting Open Map sends the captured coordinates to Google Maps in a new window; CT Video Services analytics records only a coarse accuracy category, not the coordinates. Wake lock, fullscreen, orientation, haptic, clipboard, file picker, and operating-system share features are used only after a related action and remain subject to device and browser controls.

Location directory, maps, and directions

Owner-reviewed directory records may store a town, region, postal code, street address, coordinates, coordinate source, visibility choice, verification date, lifecycle state, and revision history in the protected production database. Hidden and area-only addresses are not published: the public site substitutes an official U.S. Census town or planning-region point. A street address or precise pin can appear publicly only when the owner selects full visibility and records an exact or address-level coordinate review. Archived records and audit history may be retained to preserve URL continuity, investigate changes, and document publication decisions.

The public location list works without loading a map. Selecting Load Interactive Map connects the browser to OpenFreeMap to display OpenStreetMap data and shares ordinary network information and the requested map area with that provider. Selecting Near me asks the browser for location permission and sorts results locally; exact coordinates are not stored, sent to CT Video Services analytics, or used to request map tiles. If you then request directions to a reviewed exact address, the browser opens OpenStreetMap and sends the starting and destination coordinates only for that explicit action. OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap apply their own privacy terms to those requests.

Website analytics and cookies

This website uses Google Analytics and HubSpot tools and related cookies or device identifiers to understand site and installed-app activity, measure install, update, offline-pack, sharing, and app-tool interactions, associate visits with voluntarily supplied contact details where permitted, manage inquiries, and improve marketing. We do not send local production-note text, local media contents, exact captured coordinates, or private quote details as analytics event properties. The cookie banner and your browser provide available consent and blocking controls.

Confidential, account, and administration routes

Production-desk, marketplace-account, private-project, investor-account, information-room, and sign-in callback routes use a reduced website shell. Google Analytics, HubSpot tracking, the AI guide, PWA controls, and motion enhancements are not loaded into those routes. When a visitor moves from a public page into one of those areas, the site uses a fresh protected document so public-page scripts do not remain attached to confidential content. This route separation does not erase cookies or records previously created on public pages; browser and provider privacy controls still apply to those records.

AI production planning guide

The optional CT Video Guide sends the questions you choose to submit, a limited recent chat history, and the current page path to OpenAI so it can generate a production-planning response. The OpenAI credential stays on the server and is never sent to your browser. Chat history is kept in session storage on your device so it can follow the current visit; CT Video Services does not save the transcript to its production database or send question or answer text to Google Analytics or HubSpot analytics. We record only broad interaction signals such as opening the guide, buyer stage, general intent, and selected action. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, medical information, or other highly sensitive information. Use the separate consented quote form if you want CT Video Services to save a project request and contact you.

Marketplace accounts, projects, creator profiles, and payouts

Signed-in marketplace use may store the account email and display name supplied by the sign-in service, account roles, policy acceptance time, customer project scopes, private venue details, budgets, deliverables, creator profiles, portfolio and social links, applications, proposed and approved engagement type, compliance-review state, assignment-terms version and acceptance, assignment states, locked independent-business earnings or employee-payroll terms, external payment or payroll references, payout states, disputes, and audit events. Public creator profiles and public gigs appear only after review and contain only approved fields; account email, private venue, private scope, applications, customer identity, payment references, and payout records are not published. The site does not store card numbers, bank credentials, tax-identification numbers, government IDs, or creator biometric identifiers in marketplace records.

Creator community, follows, comments, and reports

When an approved creator opts into community features, the site may store public posts, comments, reactions, profile follows, shared page references, selected language, moderation state, publication time, and private abuse reports. External social links are optional. A CT Video creator profile can function as the user's complete public identity without Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, or another outside account. New posts and comments are normally private until approved. Private bookmarks, reporter identity, moderation records, and removed content are not included in public feeds or structured data. External share buttons send the public URL and chosen text to the selected service only after the user chooses it.

Employer job submissions and industry listings

A signed-in employer submission may store the account, title, hiring organization, Connecticut city, employment type, official source and application URLs, description, posting and closing dates, compensation text, authority confirmations, review status, verification notes, and timestamps. Submissions remain private until human verification. Approved details may become public and may be supplied to search engines through ordinary pages, sitemaps, feeds, and eligible structured data. Applicant resumes, applications, demographic data, tax records, bank details, and government IDs are not collected by this job-discovery board; applicants use the linked employer system.

Language and accessibility preferences

Accessibility preferences such as text size, contrast, motion, spacing, and reading guide are stored in browser storage on the device. Reviewed language choices use their visible page URL; machine-translated text is limited to the current page. On-device translation is requested only when the user chooses it and the browser supports it. The optional Google translation link sends the current public URL to Google only when selected. Accessibility barrier reports may store the page, barrier category, assistive technology, description, optional reply email and consent, review status, resolution note, and timestamps in the private owner queue. Analytics and HubSpot scripts are omitted from pages that collect accessibility or private abuse-report details. Browser speech uses a voice supplied by the browser or operating system; network voices may process spoken text under the device provider's terms, and confidential pages require deliberately selected text.

Payroll, independent-business onboarding, and external payments

Before work begins, the marketplace records whether the approved engagement uses employee payroll or a qualifying independent-business process. Sensitive wage, withholding, work-authorization, tax, bank, card, and identity-verification information must be provided through the approved payroll, tax, or payment provider—not in project fields, chat, portfolio links, or public profiles. Those providers process information under their own notices and terms. CT Video Services may retain provider identifiers, invoices, settlement status, payroll or payout status, timestamps, hold reasons, and documented adjustments or reversals, but the marketplace does not store raw card numbers, bank credentials, tax-identification numbers, or government-ID images. Employee payroll is not made contingent on customer payment; independent-business payment conditions are governed by the written assignment and applicable law.

Investor relations and historical access records

Private information-room and access-request features are currently disabled and do not accept new requests, eligibility records, investment instructions, subscriptions, or payments. Historical private-information requests may retain the signed-in account, organization, relationship type, selected information interests, request note, confidentiality acknowledgement, review status, specific information-room permissions, acknowledgement version, expiration, revocation, and audit events for security, legal, and recordkeeping purposes. Private room pages are unavailable while the securities-counsel gate is closed. Do not email or submit bank, brokerage, tax, government-ID, accreditation, or other sensitive financial records. CTVideoServices.com does not accept investments, commitments, securities orders, escrow, or investor money and does not publish investor profiles or private information-room content.

SEO and buyer-journey experiments

Some existing town-and-service pages participate in a stable search-message experiment. Each canonical URL is assigned one server-rendered variant; the site does not create hidden copies or show a different version to search engines. Measurement may include the experiment ID, A–D variant, page family, coarse referrer category, page exposure, quote-path action, and completed quote request. It does not include search-query text, contact fields, project-message text, raw referrer URLs, or raw IP addresses. A source page path may remain in session storage for up to four hours so a quote completed in the full estimator can be attributed; the server validates that path and does not retain it in the event table. Google Search Console page-level totals may be imported into the private production desk to compare impressions, clicks, click-through rate, and average position without importing search queries. Public event totals are retained for up to 180 days, and private page-level Search Console snapshots for up to two years.

Abuse prevention

Quote, alert, AI-assistant, and experiment-measurement endpoints use short-lived, one-way hashed connection identifiers to enforce reasonable submission limits. When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile supplies a single-use verification token so a legitimate request can enter our CRM without exposing the verification secret in the browser. Existing CRM identity fields are not overwritten from an unverified public quote request.

Security, retention, and access

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet system can promise absolute security. Records may be retained as needed for customer service, contracts, accounting, fraud prevention, security, and legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed. To request access, correction, deletion, or information about your data, email bookings@ctvideoservices.com or call or text (203) 512-8339. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Media and events

Recording, photography, model releases, venue permissions, delivery rights, archival terms, and promotional usage are defined by the applicable production agreement.
