01Post a clear project
Choose the service, date, town, budget range, deliverables, and private venue details.
- Open Post a Project and sign in.
- Add the date, town, private venue, service, scope, budget, and deliverables.
- Accept the Customer Project Terms and submit for owner review.
- Watch status in My Marketplace; submission is not a booking.
02Understand creator matching
The owner-assist score compares requested skill overlap, current availability, Connecticut location fit, portfolio-link presence, verified paid completions, and whether the creator applied. Human review can override the order.
- Read the current project, assignment, or information status.
- Use only the action available for that status.
- Keep scope, rights, safety, classification, and payment changes in writing.
- Contact CT Video Services before proceeding when the facts do not match.
03Approve scope and creator compensation
The written project agreement controls the customer price, creator assignment, approved employee-payroll or independent-business path, changes, rights, cancellation, and payment schedule.
- Confirm the customer scope, price, schedule, rights, cancellation terms, and change process in writing.
- Wait for CT Video Services to approve the creator as either employee payroll or a qualifying independent business.
- Confirm the creator compensation and any separately disclosed production or platform portion.
- Approve later scope or compensation changes in writing before the changed work begins.
04Review deliverables
Review work through the project workspace, request only agreed revisions, and confirm acceptance when the deliverables match the written scope.
- Read the current project, assignment, or information status.
- Use only the action available for that status.
- Keep scope, rights, safety, classification, and payment changes in writing.
- Contact CT Video Services before proceeding when the facts do not match.
05Payments, refunds, and disputes
Customer payment, employee payroll, and independent-business payables are tracked separately. Report a problem before accepting final delivery so the proper documented review can begin.
- Read the current project, assignment, or information status.
- Use only the action available for that status.
- Keep scope, rights, safety, classification, and payment changes in writing.
- Contact CT Video Services before proceeding when the facts do not match.
