MARKETPLACE WORKFLOW
Built like a gig app. Managed like a production.
The useful speed of a customer/creator marketplace—with human approval at the moments where scope, safety, rights, worker classification, payment, and compensation can go wrong.
CUSTOMER JOURNEY
From need to finished media.
- 01
Post privately
Submit the real date, Connecticut town, venue, scope, budget range, and deliverables. Nothing becomes a public gig automatically.
- 02
Production review
CT Video Services checks feasibility, missing details, safety, customer authority, pricing, and whether the job should be matched privately or published with separately curated fields.
- 03
Recommended fit
The owner-assist score compares requested skill overlap, current availability, Connecticut location fit, portfolio-link presence, verified paid completions, and whether the creator applied. The owner reviews and can override it.
- 04
Classification + assignment
CT Video Services records the approved employee-payroll or independent-business branch, then locks scope, creator compensation, platform/production portion, expenses, schedule, rights, cancellation, and deliverables in a versioned assignment.
- 05
Produce and approve
The assigned creator completes the agreed work. Sponsored deliverables receive their disclosure review before the customer or owner records acceptance or a dispute.
- 06
Record the correct compensation path
Employee compensation follows the external payroll schedule regardless of customer collection. A qualifying independent-business payout follows the written delivery, cleared-funds, compliance, and dispute conditions.
CREATOR JOURNEY
From profile to documented compensation.
- 01
Submit a real profile
List the work you do, town, travel range, equipment, availability, and portfolio links you have the right to display. Public listing is a separate opt-in.
- 02
Owner review
Profiles stay private until reviewed. Approval confirms only the review status shown; it is not a guarantee of work, safety, licensing, or employment status.
- 03
Apply selectively
Apply to open gigs with a fit statement, availability note, and proposed creator compensation when the listing permits it.
- 04
Accept one exact version
Review the complete immutable assignment, engagement branch, compensation, platform portion, private location, expenses, rights, schedule, permits, cancellation, disclosure, and delivery requirements before accepting.
- 05
Complete the milestone
Follow the plan, protect private customer details, report incidents, include any required sponsor disclosure, and submit the agreed delivery link or files.
- 06
Track the correct record
Employee-payroll and independent-business payout states are separate. HubSpot stages, invoices, and customer promises do not count as settled funds, and customer collection never controls an employee payday.
