The 2026 Norwalk Film Festival announced an East Coast premiere, director and filmmaker conversations, student work, shorts, panels, and a filmmaking workshop.
The sixth annual festival’s program included the East Coast premiere of Power Ballad with Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas, an opening-night conversation around Little Richard: I Am Everything, and a Bloom documentary panel.
The weekend also made room for student films, local shorts, audience awards, and a workshop at Lot48—useful connective tissue for the state’s emerging production community.
The official festival remains the best place to confirm tickets, screening times, and any program changes.
What this means for the people making media
News becomes useful when it connects back to action. A new production creates opportunities for local crews and vendors. A venue story can become a location or broadcast lead. A policy change can change a budget. A community story can become the next documentary, campaign, interview, or music video.
